3. iBamboo: Bamboo is already one of the most sustainable materials around, and now it’s been turned into the ultimate foundation for your iPod or iPhone’s portable speakers. There’s no electricity needed, it’s compatible with the iPhone models 4 and up, and has luxe to spare.
The iBamboo speaker is essentially a foot-long piece of bamboo that’s laser cut, machined and then finished by hand. Omelchenko says that no two pieces will be exactly alike, and claims that the unique properties of the material serve to improve the quality and ramp up the volume of the audio resonating through it, from the speaker of a docked iPhone. Product Dimensions: 12″x3″x3″. You can also check some other power active units that are great speakers for any device you want to use.

iPhone users aren’t exactly at a loss when looking for a place to dock their phones these days. But even in a market that’s flooded with a myriad docking and music amplification systems, the iBamboo Speaker by designer Anatoliy Omelchenko of Triangle Tree manages to separate itself from the pack, I also suggest to check Sound Moz site where you will find more speaker options. The simple-yet-chic design consists of a single piece of bamboo — one of the world’s greenest natural materials — with a slot cut into it where the iPhone is placed. The natural shape of the speaker amplifies the tunes, producing a pseudo-stereo effect that requires no electricity. Because there are many Bluetooth speakers out there, which you can listen to your music or your games with the Best Floating Bluetooth Speakers with Top Sound Quality or a headset for a more personal experience from some pc gaming headset reviews, I also recommend checking out musicalinstrumentsexpert, is a great site for those who love the music world.
Often, people think that to adopt a green lifestyle they have to ditch the tech gadgets and tools that make life easier and more enjoyable. That’s not exactly true. In fact, a new line of bamboo products are both safe for the environment and durable.
But why bamboo? Well, it’s a sustainable raw material that grows up to five times faster than wood materials, making it one of the most renewable sources on the planet. Since it is a grass it can grow in most climates and environments without chemicals or pesticides, and it produces 35% more oxygen than hardwood trees. What really seals the deal is that bamboo’s tensile strength, or the measurement of a material’s ability to handle stress, surpasses that of steel.
As bamboo tech products become more trendy, the marketplace is becoming inundated with versions claiming to be “green” when they are not. They have even come up with a prototype of some bamboo Sound Bars. Pretty cool, right? That’s why we compiled a list of gadgets made of sustainable bamboo that give you equal, if not better, quality and durability than their more toxic counterparts.

Is the iBamboo Speaker compatible with the new iPhone 5?
Yes. Since iPhone 5 has the same width as the previous version, the iPhone 5 would be compatible with the current model of iBamboo.
Anatoliy Omelchenko of Triangle Tree reports that since launching the iBamboo speaker we featured in June 2011, he has received numerous requests from customers asking if there’s anything like it that’s made from plastic. Despite being made from a material considered stronger than some plastics and metal, users seem worried that the beautifully simple iPhone amplification device may get damaged if made part of their regular travel kit. Enter the new iBamboo Urban design, which is shaped just like its natural elder but is made from recycled plastic. more…>
